Brain Products first amplifier designed for research
only!
Combining decades of experience in the field
of neurophysiology research with state-of-the-art circuit design, we have succeeded in coming up with an amazing
product. This is the actiCHamp active channel amplifier, our first amplifier designed solely for research applications.
The amplifier’s high sampling rate (up to 100 KHz for 16 channels – 50 kHz for 32 channels),
its very wide hardware bandwidth, its smart and
user-friendly design and its ease of use
are just a few of its notable features.
This 24-bit battery-powered amplifier uses an intelligent plug-and-play
concept to make it extremely easy to increase the number of channels from 32 up to 160 by adding individual
modules of 32 channels each.
(For a picture series on how to do this, please click here.)
Eight additional AUX inputs are integrated into the basic module of the amplifier,
and can be used with a full range of biosignal sensors to measure such parameters as GSR, respiration, acceleration,
temperature, blood pulse etc.
Furthermore, a special adapter named BIP2AUX can be used to record bipolar signals through the existing AUX inputs.
The actiCHamp system is equipped with the familiar Brain Products active electrodes
which have proved to be so deservedly popular through the years.
